The Land of Make Believe is a family & amp; the water park caters mostly for families and children under 13 years old. Designed specifically for Parents to participate with their Children. Opened in 1954, at Hope Township, in Warren County, New Jersey, United States, on County Route 611, two miles from exit 12 of Interstate 80. The center is around "safe and sound Recreation", with entertaining rides and the most suitable attraction for children under the age of thirteen, but also has a lot of attractions for people of all ages but not so extreme that it scares the mixed youngsters.
Some of the most prominent attractions are the civil war chariots (which revolve around most of the park), Pirate's Wading Pool, the largest in America with a life-size Pirate Ship and Pirates Escape & amp; Pirate revenge double racing slides. The Land of Make Believe has plenty of standard amusement park rides like small roller coasters, Tilt-A-Whirl, Drop & amp; Twist, Tornado, and Scream Machine 360 ââride ride to the top as well as other special attractions such as hay and zoo rides. Some other water attractions include Pirates Plunge, Blackbeard Pirate Fortress, The Sidewinder, Blackbeard's Action River Ride, and eight water slides.
Initially, this park only featured attractions for small children, adding some water attractions for children in the late 1980s. Beginning in the first decade of the 2000s, the park has begun to add to the rides that adults can enjoy but not too extreme for children. These include the standard mid-grade adult rides found in carnivals and amusement parks as well as the larger waterslides found in major water parks.
