Magical Special Mystery (also known on-screen as Marc Summers' Mystery Magical Tour ) is a special American television aired on Nickelodeon. Advertised as a Halloween-themed program, this particular one was originally produced in 1986, but kept air, often several times, every October for several years thereafter, ceased after 1996.
Especially designed specifically to showcase the talents of stage witches Lance Burton and Tina Lenert, and take advantage of the popularity of Marc Summers, who was then known as the host of the Double Dare game show. Shiri Appleby and Jonathan Brandis and Trenton Teigen also appeared, and John Astin (famous for his role Gomez Addams) made a cameo appearance. The filming takes place at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles, CA.
