Plot

Opening

Traditional horror movie characters like Monster Frankenstein, Mummy, the Wolf Man, and Dracula roam the streets of Springfield on Halloween night. After they were mocked by Dolph, Jimbo, and Kearney, they got a more modern new costume from a Halloween store, with Frankenstein's monster as SpongeBob, Dracula as Iron Man, The Wolf Man as Harry Potter and The Mummy as Captain Jack Sparrow. They then go to an adult Halloween party thrown by Homer and Marge, but are soon confronted by their wife, who is angry that their husband is lying about going to kill the children tonight. Homer tries to intervene when wives start attacking their husbands, only to beheaded, and his eyes are replaced with two red x, episode titles then appear on the screen.

Press "M" for Killing or Press " # "to Return to Main Menu

In a parody of the Stranger on the Train, Lisa wants to take revenge after being sent to prison by Ms. Hoover for disturbing the class when he claimed another student locked it through a tutor. Bart hatches the "overlapping" plan and tells Lisa that if she pulls a "ding-dong ditch" to Mrs Krabappel, she will do the same to Ms. Hoover. Lisa thinks this means ringing the bell at Ny's apartment. Krabappel and leave. However, Lisa soon learns that Bart intends to kill Mrs Krabappel (and throw the corpse in the gutter), because she has killed Ms. Hoover. Bart tries to persuade Lisa to kill Mrs Krabappel with a paper cutter, but she refuses. Finally, Bart decides to blackmail him with the help of Willie, who will frame Lisa for Skinner who was beheaded in honor of the "cross" side where Bart killed Skinner. Realizing that Bart would entrap her for these incidents, Lisa tricked her into believing that she'd given up just getting a knife out of her hand and trying to kill Bart to defend herself, starting a sequence of chases. Bart finally finds a shelter in a crowded playground carousel, but is left on Lisa's grace when the other kids go to get ice cream. Lisa, however, admits that she will not be better than Bart, saying she'll never be a murderer, and trying to throw the knife away. The knife cycle was out of control and ended by nailing Bart in the head when Mrs Krabappel appeared, delighted at his death. Though he was surprised to accidentally kill Bart, Lisa agreed that it was better this way and he and Krabappel left with a smile, leaving Bart killed to spin in the carousel.

Do not Have a Cow, Man

Krusty the Clown introduced a new version of its Krusty Burger, Burger 2 , made from cows that have eaten other animals in their diet. After eating a burger on live television, Kent Brockman began to comment on the taste before it turned gray, red-eye, and cannibal, initiating a chain reaction of people who were attacked and eaten. Twenty-eight days later, Springfield has been overrun by a zombie called muncher. The Simpsons was founded to be one of the few survivors.

One day, Bart, tired of eating fruit, escaped from his family's barricade home and ate one of the polluted burgers, but was apparently immune to the impact. Over the phone, the beleaguered Dr. Hibbert told them that Bart's immunity might be the key to developing a cure for epidemic munchers and that they should bring Bart to a so-called "safe zone" outside the city. The Simpsons were attacked after a failed effort to slip out but were rescued by Apu, driving an armored off-road truck. Apu explained that he was never infected because, as a vegan and a Hindu, he was morally opposed to eating anything that was once an animal, and, as a shop clerk, he "armed with teeth" if there was a zombie robbery or doom store.

The group tried to leave Springfield, but Apu crashed the truck onto a pile of wrecked cars. Apu goes to push the car off the pile, but Simpsons expels Apu thinking of sacrificing himself, when he really wants the Simpsons to wait for him. After Apu was killed by a muncher, Simpsons drove but ran out of gas, walking along the road to the safe zone. During their journey, Homer was bitten by Mr. Burns, thus turning it into its own chewer. The family decided not to kill him in the hope of finding a cure. They reach the safe zone, where Bart - - immune to the virus - is worshiped as the "chosen one". However, people there believe Bart's cannibalization will save them from the virus. The Simpsons think of another solution: vaccinating the remaining population by asking Bart to bathe in their food before eating it.

No Business Like Moe Business

In a parody of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which is presented like a Broadway musical, Moe feels lonely and upset that she has no girlfriend and is jealous when she sees Homer and Marge together. When Homer fell into the basement of the bar and was pierced by a microbrew pipe, his blood became a secret ingredient in Moe's new beer. Everyone loves this new beer, saying that it makes them feel warm, safe and comfortable inside. Moe uses this to his advantage and loves Marge, tricking him into thinking that Homer came out of the closet as a homosexual and abandoned Marge, when in fact, Homer was slowly dying of blood loss. Homer appears, alive, though stabbed by Moe's microbrew machine, throws Moe (represented as a doll) across the room, and reunited with Marge.

Ending

Then, the entire audience except Kang and Kodos gathered on stage and closed the episode by singing "Number XX" As Kang watered the crowd, beckoning to Kodos, who had fallen asleep with the playbill on his helmet.
