The Heaven Carnival (formerly Heaven ) is a fantasy yard operated by Carnival Cruise Line. Built by the Yards-Yards KvÃÆ'Â|rner at Helsinki's New Shipyard in Helsinki, Finland, he floated out on January 29, 1998, and was baptized as paradise by Paula Zahn. During 2007, along with all her fantasy sisters, she had the Carnival prefix added to her name.

Carnival Paradise was built to be the first truly non-smoking shipping vessel in the world and he's entered into a service supported by several anti-smoking and cancer prevention groups. The "no smoking" sign is placed clearly on both sides of the ship and at the stern with that name.
Non-smoking regulations are strictly enforced. No smoking materials are allowed on board. If anyone is seen or found, passengers are fined $ 250 and delayed at the next port (transport houses will be provided at their own expense). Due to poor earnings, Carnival decided to stop the smoke-free ship in December 2003 because they claimed that non-smokers tend to not drink or gamble as much as are accustomed to smoking.
Scheduled to arrive at Port of Long Beach, California, on September 20, 2004, his arrival was delayed due to several major storms (see 2004 Atlantic hurricane season). The voyage through the Caribbean and Panama Canal, and on the coast of Mexico are increasingly hindered by more storms. After going around bad weather with minimal discomfort, Paradise arrives in Los Angeles early in the morning, anchored at the Long Beach terminal of the Carnival Cruise Lines, which is home to Spruce Geese . Later that day, non-smoking signs were repainted. He still boasts one of the most stringent smoking policies in the fleet.
After his arrival in Long Beach, he became popular among young cruisers looking for a more relaxed and affordable alternative to longer structured lines, with 3 days and 4 cruises to Ensenada, Mexico, and Santa Catalina Island, California.
Carnival Cruise Lines introduces Carnival Paradise with the first "earth-friendly" dry-cleaning system, which uses environmentally friendly detergents and reduces dangerous runoff. In addition, Carnival is also at the forefront of machine design, and their new vessel class has an "extremely efficient" electric-diesel drive system known as "enviro-engine", which virtually eliminates visible chimney emissions.
By the end of 2011, the Carnival transferred the Carnival of Heaven to Tampa, replacing the Carnival of Inspiration, which went to California. Currently, Carnival Paradise takes 4 and 5 nights to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. Ships will also sail to Havana, Cuba and Key West, Florida on select cruises in 2017 and 2018.
In 2018, Paradise underwent a monthlong docking in Freeport, Bahamas. The dry dock includes many upgrades as part of Carnival Cruise Lines 2.0 upgrades the fun of the ship. These include Guys Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Red Frog Rum Bar, and BlueIguana Tequila Bar. Carnival also adds the 14th deck to the front of Paradise to accommodate 38 new cabins including two Grand Vista Suites with floor-to-ceiling front-facing windows, 22 junior suites, two beautiful ocean view cabins and 12 interior cabins. In addition, balconies have been added to the existing 98 stateroom, creating spacious 230-foot wide staterooms. All staterooms have been improved with new island-inspired interiors with vibrant colors and pastels inspired by Carnival Paradise's tropical travel plans. Carnival also renovated the Ocean Camp for young people and added Dr Seuss to their Waterworks-inspired ships as well.
